What makes the trains run comes from Limoges.
Texelis designs and manufactures in Limoges the components that make heavy vehicles run: bogies, axles, transmission and braking systems for trams, metros, light rail and defense vehicles. A expertise in precision mechanical engineering, present under vehicles circulating all over the world, which the general public never sees.
For InnoTrans 2026, the company entrusted us with its stand at Messe Berlin. From September 22 to 25, the world's largest transport technology trade fair celebrated its thirty years by occupying the 42 halls of the exhibition center and 3,500 meters of outdoor railway tracks. Nearly 3,000 exhibitors from over 60 countries were expected there, covering 200,000 m², in front of 170,000 professionals from around the world, including the main railway buyers.
We managed the project from end to end: concept, technical drawings, manufacturing in our workshops in Paris and Lyon, transport to Germany, installation on site and then dismantling.

InnoTrans is a buyer's trade fair. Network operators, rolling stock manufacturers, international contracting authorities: the meetings held there commit programs over several years. For Texelis, which counts Alstom, SNCF, and Masteris among its clients, these four days concentrate a large share of the year's exchanges. In such a vast venue, the first difficulty is simply being found.
A double-decker stand, and that changes everything
Faced with this constraint, we built upwards. A mezzanine means twice the useful surface area without an extra square meter on the ground, and a landmark visible from afar in a 200-meter-long hall. Few stand designers know how to deliver this: it requires a calculated load-bearing structure, justified operational loads, a staircase up to standards, compliant guardrails, and a technical dossier validated by the trade fair's control office even before assembly begins. An engineering skill, not just scenography.
Each level has its function
Below, the product: a bogie, an axle, a transmission module, displayed right on the floor to support their weight and be explained to engineers. Above, the meeting: discussion areas away from the noise, where an international client can be received for forty-five minutes without being interrupted. Two uses that would interfere with each other on a single level.
An international project
Design in France, manufacture in our workshops, transport the structure to Berlin, assemble, and then dismantle. On a double-decker stand, the assembly schedule is unforgiving: the mezzanine must be raised and secured before everything else. The stand was ready when the doors opened.
