What is the difference between a showroom and an exhibition hall?
An exhibition hall displays products; a showroom stages a journey. In practical terms, a showroom designed by Expace organizes a progression—reception, demonstration, trial, sales discussion, and sometimes training—complete with scenography, lighting, and signage that guide visitors without them ever having to ask for directions. That is the difference between a place where you simply store your products and a place that sells them for you.
How many square meters are needed for a showroom?
There is no set threshold: we have designed 30 m² demonstration areas that are just as impactful as showrooms spanning several hundred square meters. What really matters is the number of dedicated zones to fit in—reception, demonstration, meeting, storage—and the flow of simultaneous visitors. In smaller spaces, the key solutions are movable furniture, modular partitions, and immersive 3D technology to replace products that are physically too bulky to display.
