The World Hydrogen Summit & Exhibition will take place from May 18 to 20, 2027 at Rotterdam Ahoy, Netherlands. The Sustainable Energy Council and RX are organizing it together with the Dutch government, local authorities and the Port of Rotterdam. Expected figures include 10,000 attendees, over 500 exhibitors, 300 speakers and more than 23 country pavilions. In 2027, two new zones expand the scope: CCUS World and Energy Storage World.

Rotterdam remains, above all, a place for deals. Discussions focus on off-take agreements, final investment decisions and ammonia import corridors. The space must therefore protect confidentiality — closed rooms, acoustic treatment, controlled flow — while remaining open on the aisle side to capture delegations moving from one national pavilion to another.

We designed and built the Plug Power booth at this show: immersive screens, high-tech materials, blue-green LEDs. Exporting a booth to Ahoy requires knowledge of the venue regulations, local rigging rules and the customs schedule. EXPACE manages fabrication, transport and assembly from France, just as they did for the Hyvia conference or the IVECO Bus booth at UITP in Hamburg.
