A booth that makes sparks fly
ENGIE aims to become a key player in renewable and low-carbon hydrogen. At the Hyvolution trade show in Paris, the Group presented the diversity of its projects on a stand designed by Expace. Renewable hydrogen is crucial to achieving a decarbonized European energy mix by 2050, with needs estimated to be seven times higher than current demand, mainly in heavy, air, road, and maritime mobility.
ENGIE is committed to replacing grey hydrogen with green hydrogen, produced through water electrolysis, offering an energy density three times higher than that of oil or methane. Hydrogen provides an electricity storage solution and helps to decarbonize the hardest-to-abate sectors.
