European pediatric infectiology gathered in Berlin

ESPID 2027, the forty-fifth annual meeting of the European Society for Paediatric Infectious Diseases, is taking place from May 31 to June 4 at the CityCube Berlin, with an online broadcast. The congress brings together pediatricians, infectious disease specialists, microbiologists, and vaccinologists: the society's statistics place 58% of participants in Western Europe, 43% in pediatrics, and 62% in a hospital setting.
Vaccination, neonatal infections, pediatric antibiotic therapy, bronchiolitis, bacterial resistance: the audience is young, hospital-based, and comes seeking data above all else. The hybrid format requires as much care for what appears on screen as for what is experienced on-site, alongside providing a quiet corner for discussions with clinical investigators.
At this congress, the scale of the booth matters less than its accuracy: a well-designed, compact module carries more weight than a large, empty space.
