Organised by the Manufacturing Technologies Association, MACH is the major UK exhibition for manufacturing technologies. Next edition: 3 to 7 April 2028 at the NEC Birmingham.

MACH: UK industrial manufacturing in one place

Every two years, MACH brings together machine tools, automation, metrology, additive manufacturing and industrial software. The 2026 edition attracted 26,000 visitors and over 500 exhibitors across five halls. For 2028, more than half of the space was already booked almost two years before the opening: locations are negotiated early.

NEC Birmingham: exporting to the United Kingdom

The NEC is located close to Birmingham International railway station and the airport. Outside the European Union, the United Kingdom imposes customs formalities: ATA carnet or temporary importation, transport documents and deadlines to be anticipated. We organise transport from France, assembly and dismantling, and coordinate operations with the site teams.

• Book your space early: half of the 2028 space is already sold: make your decision in 2027.

• Anticipate UK customs: ATA carnet or temporary importation, to be prepared several weeks in advance.

• Plan for the weight of the machines: reinforced floor and delivery access to be validated with the organiser.

• Separate demonstrations and meetings: a quiet area for buyers negotiating.
