The 31st Fakuma opens from October 11 to 15, 2027 at Messe Friedrichshafen, on the shores of Lake Constance. Organized by P. E. Schall, this plastics processing trade fair covers injection molding, extrusion, thermoforming, and additive manufacturing. The 2024 edition gathered 1,639 exhibitors across twelve almost full halls; the 30th edition was held from October 12 to 16, 2026.

In Friedrichshafen, the halls are compact and the aisles narrow: usable height and legibility matter more than square meters. The presses run live, often in robotized cells, and visitors — toolmakers, plastics processors, design offices — stand for a long time in front of a machine. Therefore, space is needed in front of the production area, along with a quiet listening bubble and a storage room for parts and granules.
