There will be no National Lawyers Convention in 2027. The National Bar Council's event follows a three-year cycle: the profession meets in Toulouse from Wednesday, October 21 to Friday, October 23, 2026, and the next convention is therefore expected in 2029. Between two editions, bars and legal sector suppliers meet at the annual congresses of neighboring professions — notaries, judicial commissioners, chartered accountants.

When it is held, the Convention gathers the bars from all over France, their presidents, and their elected representatives in one place. The exhibitors — legaltech, legal publishers, professional liability insurers, pension organizations, banks — stake their reputation on it, which will have to last for three years. This justifies a level of scenographic investment superior to that of an annual exhibition.
